Overview

Crypto Profit Calculator is a Chrome extension that helps users estimate cryptocurrency spot and futures profit and loss. The extension shows public cryptocurrency market prices and performs PNL calculations inside the browser popup.

Information We Do Not Collect

Crypto Profit Calculator does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account information
• Wallet addresses, exchange account details, or private keys
• Browsing history or website content
• Payment information
• Analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data
• The values users type into the calculator

Information Processed Locally

The extension processes calculator inputs locally in the user's browser. This may include:

• Selected cryptocurrency
• Amount or capital entered by the user
• Entry price, sell price, stop-loss, and take-profit values
• Selected trade type, position side, and leverage
• Theme preference, such as light mode or dark mode
• Cached public market price data

These values are used only to display calculations in the extension popup. They are not sent to the developer, sold, or shared with third parties.

External Price API Requests

To display live market prices, the extension sends requests to public cryptocurrency price APIs, including CoinGecko, DefiLlama, Binance public market API, and CryptoCompare.

These requests are used only to retrieve public USD prices and 24-hour price changes for supported cryptocurrencies. The extension does not intentionally send calculator inputs, personal information, wallet information, or browsing history to these APIs.

Like any normal web request, the external API providers may receive standard technical information from the browser request, such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested API URL. This information is handled by the API providers according to their own policies.

Permissions

The extension requests host permissions only for the public price API domains needed to retrieve cryptocurrency market data. These permissions are not used to read or modify websites, access user accounts, inject content scripts, or collect browsing activity.

Data Sharing

Crypto Profit Calculator does not sell, rent, transfer, or share user data. The extension does not use advertising networks, analytics services, or third-party tracking tools.

Data Storage and Retention

The extension may store theme preference and cached public market price data in the browser's local extension storage. This data stays on the user's device and can be removed by clearing browser extension data or uninstalling the extension.

Remote Code

The extension does not use remote hosted code. All JavaScript, HTML, CSS, icons, and app assets are included in the extension package. Network responses from price APIs are used as data only and are not executed as code.

Security

Crypto Profit Calculator uses HTTPS requests for external price APIs. The extension does not request access to wallets, exchange accounts, passwords, or private keys.
